The manifolds are not stainless. I believethey are
iron. They will rust. They will also pit... and badly. Last year I had my
manifold gaskets and studs replaced by PJ Grady, and I had them send out my
manifolds to be ceramic coated in silver. They coated them inside and out. They
still look good, but the corners are showing a tiny bit of rust. But it
shouldn't get any worse. The company guarantees their work, so if it does,
they'll be getting a phone call. If you want that color gone, have them ceramic
coated. They look a heck of a lot better, and they are now
preserved.
