[DML] Bar adjustment or new struts

After a good year I finally have a droopy driver's side door. Of course the
cooler weather doesn't help. Now, someone told me that the torsion bars
should never be adjusted and that new struts alone should help. What's the
deal and how do I give my door a good test to see which it really needs? I
don't know the age of the current struts but how long should a good pair
last anyway? Tired of looking uncool at the gas station... Fil Vigil.
