[DML] Re: turbo supplier-

I'm not going to argue with you that 20 grand isn't a lot of money, but
you've got to remember that these folks are in the business of making money.
With the engineering, modifications, parts, and time put into this project,
$20,000 is a reasonable price.

Being a Cadillac guy, I know you can pick up a used Northstar for anywhere
between $4K-$8K. I just had the chance of buying the smaller "Northstar"
used in the Olds Aurora for $3,000. I had to turn it down because my D. is
an automatic--otherwise I would have jumped on it.

So take it easy on these guys, if you develope something this cool wouldn't
you want some good money for it??

Is that what it cost for the Northstar engine? $20,000! If that is
for a stock, nothing special Cadilac engine that is INSANE! You have
to be able to do far better for far less money. Surely you could come
up with a better horsepower to dollar ratio.

If I am missing something here please let me know, maybe that engine is
worth the money-- I am not an expert.
