[DML] getting paint off

Hi all, i know everybody went through the paint thing for deloreans, but i 
really need to know now. The paint on this delorean is red, and has already 
been tackled by the past owner to get it off. He said to get those parts off, 
it was very time consuming and hard. So i called some body shops in my area, 
and here's what i got: 1.soda blasting, this is pretty much the same thing as 
sandblasting, except they use baking soda. The guy said it would make the 
delorean have a new stainless look. 2. a place said they could somehow strip 
the paint off for around $500, and if there were any areas with bondo, he 
could replace those parts to. So this is what im wondering. Can i myself 
purchase anything to get this paint off and still make the car look good? I 
heard of something called DADS, which is a chemical you put on, then hoe off 
and the paint will come with it. Please, any information or help would be
