Dave,

Save yourself a lot of phone calls and driving from parts dealer to parts
dealer. The upper ball joints are readily available from your friendly
DeLorean parts supplier for around $50. Just call one of their 800 numbers
first thing in the morning and ask for part # 10927. For a few extra bucks
for shipping you could have the exact replacement at your doorstep Tuesday
morning; what could be easier. 

You will also feel good that your order helped to "keep the dream alive" by
supporting our DeLorean parts suppliers.

I almost forgot to answered you initial question. We know of no reliable
cross reference for the upper ball joints.
