[DML] Re: Owners check list, not for the car, but you!

I assume you are talking to me - please point out where I said or even intimated the word
"JUNK". You entirely missed the point of my comments, so I'll take it down a notch. While
neither the Delorean nor the Bricklin are "mechanical marvels" as some uninformed may profess,
they are FUN cars, Fun to drive and Fun to look at. No one in their right mind should buy a
20+ year old piece of machinery for any other reason. (And despite what some of you non owner
lurker teenagers think, it won't get you a girl) My 67 Mustang convertible was one of the best
selling cars cars ever made, yet inspite of the $15,000 I've invested in the car since 1980,
it too is not a "mechanical marvel", nor is my 1970 Ford F100 Custom shortbed with factory 302
hotrod truck, nor my 95 Corvette. They are all old machines (except for the Vette) that give
me pleasure, but in keeping it all in perspective I do not "thank my savior" for creating
them anymore than I thank JZD. 'Course my baby blue 59 Caddy conv is another story.
