I checked the local Volvo dealer and found that all Volvos
from, 65 or was it 68 to
present day use the same filter. (This does not include the diesel or turbo diesel). The filter they supply does have the check valve and the filter says it does right on the side. The wording on the filter says something to the effect of " This filter has a check valve to maintain oil in the filter to provide oil when starting the engine. Thiswill increase the life and longevity of the engine." I purchased one of these filters and it fits correctly. The price was $9.27 . They also supplied the copper o-ring for the drain plug , but it is to large, as the Delorean oil sump differs from the standard B28-F oil sump that Volvo used. Sorry that I do not have the part number with me now. But likeI said there is only one oil filter, you should not have a problem. Driving the Dream
