[DML] Antenna/VIN #'s

To Mike Babb:
You are correct. Your antenna has been changed. You did not say if you had
the plug in the front fender, but if not, your car came with the windshield
antenna. I say this because my VIN (3507, Aug '81) is only 35 numbers higher
than yours and I have the fender mounted one (which I now use for a C.B.
radio since I installed the rear retractable one a few years ago). With our
numbers so close together it seems that the change from windshield to fender
mount happened somewhere between VIN 3472 and 3507 !! ( I'm sure James Espey
or DMC Joe have the exact Vin number).
To Richard Strecker:
See above. Your antenna on VIN #2320 was originally in the windshield also.
To all:
I hope this isn't boring everyone, since there was some question about
antenna location and VIN number. I actually think it looks nice with the two
antennas, one on each side.
To Hank Breer:
Efren Hicks says your car has windshield, fender, and rear antennas. With
your low VIN number, I wonder how you got the windshield AND the fender
mounted one at the same time? Fender replacement?
