[DML] Re: No Power/Low Voltage

Rich,

I had a similar problem about a year ago. The car would start and run, but 
the acceleration was terrible. While taking it to the shop, I noticed that 
it had low voltage, 9 and below, but at times would surge up to 12 and the 
car would run fine. It turns out the alternator was going bad. Evidently 
the fuel pump wasn't able to get enough power to pump with the low voltage 
when I hit the accelerator. I had the alternator replaced and have not 
experienced this problem since.
