[DML] Re: Antenna question

Shortly after the start of production it was realized that the windshield
antenna was not providing sufficient reception sensitivity. Service
Bulletin
ST-07-7/81 addresses this problem and many cars with the windshield
antennas had a fender mounted antenna installed. During this period it was
determined that the fender mount deterred for the appearance of the car. In
December of 81 (Parts Bulletin PI-04) a rear mounted power antenna was
installed in all production vehicles.
