I know what you mean if you are new to this list,they do sound weird when you 
think about it,but the gas flap refers to the hood on early cars,they had a 
little flip up door on the hood so that you did not have to open up the hood 
as in later cars to fill your gas tank,Inertia Switch is the little box under 
the dash by your left foot that is triggered if the car should flip over it 
will shut of the fuel system.
