[DML] Re: Loud rear-end Clunking/Banging

The previous owner of our car also had loud clunking in the D. After being
fully checked the clunking sound was still there. Trying to discover where
the sound was coming from, they finally found the cause in the form of a
completely new spring coil that lay clunking somewhere on the bottom plate.
Presumably it wound up there during the construction process. Anyway, we
still have that new coil. I found it an amusing story.
