[DML] Steering wheel aligment

With advise from Joe at DMC services I successfully replaced my steering
column bushing! I have only one minor problem. I"m afraid to ask this
BUT.........I didn't quite line up the column spline with the upper
universal joint when reinstalling the column and now the steering wheel
is a tad off center when traveling perfectly straight. Please don't
tell me I have to remove the column again ( taking off trim pads etc...)
to get the wheel straight as dealing with the collapsing bar was a
challenge. Trying to get it through the new bushing wasn't easy without
it pushing in. I finally took a small vise grip and put it on the bar
so it would stop it from going all the way up into the braided area.

I think I can loosen up the lower joint and take out the pin on the
upper and slid it down and then move the wheel to the proper position.
The intermediate bar wouldn't slide down due some minor (repeat minor)
surface rust. but if this procedure will work I'll attempt to make it
slide down witha little TLC.

The other question is.....If you remove the center steering wheel pad
there is a large nut holding the wheel onto the column. Can this be
loosened up and reposition the steering wheel this way?? I don't
think, so but it's worth asking.

Thanks Joe for the help!!!!!!
