[DML] Steering

My steering has started to make a clunky noise when traveling. The
steering doesn't feel loose but the clunky sound is definetly there. I
had the tie rods ends replaced but have yet to get an alignment. The
steering doesn't pull but the wheel does shimmy a bit. I want to get
the tires balanced but NOBODY in southern Maine does on-the-car
balancing. Any idea?
