While I am inclined to agree with the Thompson's comments about oil, I
still use synthetic for one simple reason - my car is turbocharged and it
appears that "synthetic" oil (which as we all know is not really synthetic)
better withstands the high heat built up in the turbos.

Most DeLorean owners drive their cars less than 10,000 miles per year. On
that basis, the annual cost differential is probably the least expensive
of all their DeLorean maintenance itmes.
