There is no easy way to get to it, just jack up the drivers side rear of the
car and you will see it up underneath there. You don't need to wait until
you are out of gas, a little bit will leak out but just have a pail or bowl
ready to catch it so it doesn't get all over your floor. The fuel pump is
going to be running so all that will leak out is what is in the line. Also
be sure you don't have your face underneath it so you drink it, or worse yet
get it in your eyes. As always it is a good idea to wear safety glasses when
working under a car.
It is a relatively easy job to do, I also might recommend that you use a
little bit of plumbers tape on the threads when putting the new one on so
there are no leaks. Good luck!
