Its fixed, thanks for the help and suggestions.? Turns out I switched wires 
on the brake switch last night trying to fix the problem (since I have 3 wires, 
one of which just hangs down).   I am not sure how I swapped those before 
checking the fuses, but I must have.   I guess when you see an electrical system 
smoking out your rearview mirror, you do crazy things.   :)
