I haven't tried it specifically on the Delorean emblem but Goof Off is
a really good product for dissolving glue. You can find it in most
supermarkets. It comes in a small yellow metal can. I would squirt it
on and let it sit for a while and then try pulling a thin wire under
it. Keep the Goof Off away from the painted facia. Maybe a heat gun
would also soften it.
