Take a look at the alternator test chart on one of the D150's that I
build.

My car does that too. It'll show 10.5 volts on the gague, and read almost

straight from the battery. I've always attributed it to the fact that my
alternator doesn't kick in until about 1500 rpm's. *shrug*

Those pictures brought tears to my eyes.  With all the brain power on this
list I don't see why someone can't come up with a torsion bar replacement.
