Even with the exact same quality of book price could vary quite a lot depending on the market at the time. $200 wouldn't be aout of line. Typically I see copies go for $150. I got mine for $75 though and the book doesnt even look to have been touch. The spine was perfect, you pages bent, no scuffs, no damage what so ever to the croners. However mine didn't come with the dust jacket. $75 is cheap IMO for a perfect example with no jacket. If it even overpacked by 4 times for safety. Jeremy -- In dmcnews@xxxx, "H. This counter represents percent of 30,000 miles. When the percentage reaches 100, the counter turns on the lambda light on the dash indicating that the oxygen sensor should be replaced. The reason the wires are clipped is because your previous owner didn't know about or didn't know how to reset the counter. What exactly is it and is it really needed as the wires leading out are snapped and will take some real work to fix ( I Can do this though). ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Message: 3 Date: Sun, 05 Aug 2001 22:22:51 -0000 From: delorean502@xxxxxxxxxx Subject: Re: Sunstar's 1/18 DeLorean Model Does anyone know if this is available yet? It was a MIRROR-switch from a Saab 900 that would just about fit and could be rewired to work on a DeLorean. Hank Eskin discovered this and did this conversion, have a look at message 17131, or on the web: http://www.eskin.net/saabswitch.html The WINDOW-switches allmost matched those of a Renault Clio (see message 6918). There used to be a picture in the Files-area, but it seems to have been removed... Over two years ago (message 1392) someone mentioned a LIT set of switches from a 1983 Renault Fuego, but I haven't been able to find a decent picture of those switches... I read somewhere that DMC Houston is working on reproduction switches and I think John Hervey (SpecialTauto.com) sells rebuilds. That's all I could find in about 5 minutes, Good luck! I just bought Stainless Steel Illusion from Amazon Z-shops for $170.00. The book is in good shape, but the pages have yellowed a bit. Was pleased with content, understand now why everyone says it is a must have book. George vin #2196, now running! It is due to server issues with the "Code Red" virus. (This virus only attacks webservers, not your PC). Here is the servers's latest network status: 8/4/2001 3:29:00 PM Code Red Update Due to the code red worm, we have been forced to block the IP ranges of networks with the highest number of infected machines. We will lift these blocks as soon a possible. We have technicians working 24 hours on this issue. Thank you very much for your patience during this situation. ________________________________________________________________________ ________________________________________________________________________ Your use of Yahoo!
