Water pump thermostats have a very low failure rate. Replacements are
available from us and most of the other "D" suppliers for $18.50 with next
day delivery service available.

I have been thinking of instaling the "over heat protector as advertised
on
some vendor sites and detaled on the DMCnews tech page. I was just
wondering
what others who have used this think about it. Is it true that once
installed you never need to air bleed the coolant system again? Also, when
instaling the barb into where the air bleed valve goes, is it necesary to
use some type of anti-cease compound?

Louie, it's great to see you're finally an owner too!
For everyone else, you probably know I brought #1458 over to England
from NC at the end of last year, after 4 years of hankering after a
DeLorean. With all my subsequent posts to the DML, Louie replied
privately to basically say "you git, that's the car I wanted!" and told
me that all the photos of my car on which I based my decision, were in
fact taken by Louie.
Of course, I would never have found my car, nor managed to buy it were
it not for the help of Darren Decker, who originally advertised it (and
#2727 which now belongs to my mate Rich) on the DMC-News for sale page,
and was my go-between and expert opinion on a car that I bought
basically unseen.
Guys, I owe you both a beer or five when we're over in Memphis!
