The red/white wire controls the brightness of instruments illumination and runs to GND through the lamps in the instruments panel. The purple/orange wires are to the clock, main light switch, relay 53 (panel illum), fuse 8, hazard switch. Use a multimeter to determine what goes where and you'll probably never forget it again. Best check the red/white first, that's the single one on the rheostat pins. The others are grouped on the other pins. Red, red/Orange and so on. There are four places for the three wires. > > Thanks, > > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > ------------------------------------ To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: moderators@xxxxxxxxxxx For more info on the list, tech articles, cars for sale see www.dmcnews.com To search the archives or view files, log in at http://groups.yahoo.com/group/dmcnewsYahoo!
