[DML] Re: Minor electrical issues(headlight and Interior) Solved



Generally always check of power gets to the device directly from 
battery. Use a known good GND too.
If devices are working check both power and GND wires to that device.

Also check if connectors in fuse box are OK.
Should you still have the original, that's a first to do!

For head lamps:
Since the hi beam works, it's not a GND issue.
Take the unit out and connect power directly to the low beam pin.
No light: sealed beam kaputt!
Light: connector pin may be corroded.

For clock and cigarette lighter:
Check wiring underneath shift plate, then check power and GND on both 
devices.

Center console lights:
Work when light switch is pushed to parking lights or main lights:
If not: check the concerning pins on the switch itself.

Radio has its own fuse (behind radio in power line) so check that too.
