I'd like to thank everyone for taking the time to answer my question. I'll be sure to get every bit of the coating out, and clean with the acetone. My wife will get to help, as my arms are too thick to get to the back of the tank. She gave me a look when I told her she would get to help but I think she's really looking forward to it.
