If it's in original condition, as you say, then expect to spend thousands of dollars beyond the purchase price on upgrades to bring it up to safe and reliable standards. If you need a number, I'd say figure on $15,000 more and if you can't afford that, then my recommendation is to forget buying it. Maybe the upgrades can be done for less, but it's better to be prepared for more expenses and be pleasantly surprised if it's less than the other way around.
