Well, I just got back from this year's FFT VII. For me the best part was the Brookhaven National Laboratory tour. I had a good time on the rest of the weekend but the high point was talking to the physicists that actually run the experiments and to see the high tech equipment. The collider they are running is the most powerful of it's type in the world (at least until the one in Europe starts up). The funniest part was they were as interested in seeing our cars as we were to see the collider! We even met a Delorean owner who works there! We saw his car on the way in. He works on the insturmentation. While we were looking at one of the detectors someone started playing music from BTTF over the PA system! Mike Delucca will have a lot more to say about the FFT so I will leave it to him to post the details, the pictures, and such. This was the best tour so far!
