If the freq valve is buzzing the lamda is probably ok. If you still have bad hesitation you will have to go deeper, perhaps a problem in the secondary ignition circuit like a bad wire, plug wire not completly on, bad plug, misswired plug, bad coil, timming way off, etc. You also still cannot rule out a fuel system problem without checking the fuel pressure. That requires a gauge setup and the service manual. I do not think an alternator could cause this condition.If you have enough power to start the motor it should at least be able to run smooth for a while.
