It's about impossible to really match the stainless because it seems to change color based on the lighting. I have one like that - the car I just bought had the facias painted by the PO. Much lighter than original silver color. It's actually grown on me. It is not an attempt to match the stainless, my guess is that it was more a case of using what he had a quart of laying around. In fact I'd swear it matches my mom's Buick Park Avenue. I don't have any good pics handy, but will send something tonight. Unfortunately they did a pretty crappy job on the painting and I'll probably have to get it done over again.
