As much as I hate to agree with Martin, I think biodiesel is the fuel
of the future. Alcohol fuels just aren't economically viable. I don't
think battery limitations will ever be overcome for EV's.
Don't get me wrong: I love gasoline combustion. I prefer its
characteristics over diesel. I will miss it when it's gone (assuming
that happens in my lifetime).
But the future lies in vegetable oil.
And rail transit.
