VideoBoob:
What in the bloody FUCK? Where do you come from, dude?
Bullshit Central? Not everyone can afford to have a
sparkling car, you know -- some of us spend years
saving up for a piece of history; besides which, have
you ever heard the phrase "appearances can be
deceiving"?
If everybody had your attitude, then nobody would
bother spending years and thousands of dollars
restoring a car; they wouldn't buy it because they'd
be scared shitless that somebody would look at it and
say "Oh my God! He has a scratch on his car! That must
mean that he doesn't care about himself! He lies and
beats his kids! He eats baby seals for breakfast!" Not
everybody is as image-conscious as you are. Most
people aren't that materialistic, shallow, and
narcissistic. (With the exception of most blonde women
I know.)
I suppose you would take one look at what I drive and
assume that I have no education and no money, that I'm
a total slob, and that I have no social graces. In
reality, however, I keep a very neat home, I get along
well with well-cultured people, and I can tell the
difference between the word "lose" and the word
"loose".
I guess the funny thing is that though we know what
you drive, everybody on this list knows that you're an
uncouth, barely-educated misfit, so obsessed with his
image that he denies reality. You have made me want to
quit the list on several occasions, but I stay around
because the rest of the members are human.
I hope we never meet in person. And we probably never
will, because you'll see what I drive and walk away,
assuming anyone who drives an old beat-up pickup truck
isn't worth bothering with.
Congratulations, VideoBob. You've proved that
ignorance really IS bliss.

Conventionality is not morality; self-righteousness is not religion.
