[DMCForum] Re: Pigeon forge lights

Those are known as "footwell lights" or "kick panel lights". Were
pretty standard on luxury cars of the 1970's. In fact mine come from a
Lincoln Mark V (pulled them while scavenging other parts in a junkyard).

Moved the rear courtesy lights to B pillar trim pieces because my 3rd
brake light covers the factory lever light location. Are an
improvement over the lever light:  not only was the number of bulbs
doubled, but they are now located high above the parcel shelf.

The combined effect is total illumination of my passenger compartment.
Stock DeLoreans are unbelievably dark at night. Most of the passenger
compartment is in shadow. Found it very disconcerting compared to my
Lincolns, so I gave #5939 the same courtesy light package:
- 2 footwell lights
- 1 "dome" light (front lever light)
- 2 Q panel/B pillar lights

I was going to add courtesy lights to the doors to illuminate the
ground during entry/exit (my Lincolns have those too), but so much
light splashes from the car now they are unnecessary.
