[DMCForum] Re: Working On DeLoreans

No.

I about killed myself before Pigeon Forge putting that engine in my
car. Stayed up well past midnight most nights, sometimes until 3:00
am. Didn't take any time off from work either.

I'm thrilled to death with carburetion however, so overall it was
worthwhile. I just wish I had more than 2 weeks to do it.

Re: pitiful cars at DCS -- don't know if Ken saw the parking lot
OUTSIDE the Grand, but there were about as many cars that didn't go in
as those on display. Some were dripping fluids or too full of gas, but
a significant number of owners simply didn't feel comfortable putting
their vehicles next to better preserved specimens. I know because I
was outside talking to them. That's one reason we decided to do tech
work instead. Ken might have good results at DCS 2006 figuring out
some way to include the "fixer uppers" too.
