How much of a cost difference are you talking about?  People pay for the
Houston engine, and since there seems to be such great rejection to
bastardizing the car with another brand of engine, I would bet several
people would pay for a copy.  Plus, I think it would have way more koolness
to it than other engines ;)  Well, except the twin-engined beast of course.

I went over some of the details with Fred Delis...
IMHO, it would not be cost effective to reproduce the
Legend engine.

You are limited to 300HP because of the crappy
transmission (Unless Martin comes up with some upgrade
parts from other Renault cars).  Given that limit, you
can do an engine swap with modern 300HP engines for
much less money than you could buld a Legend engine
for.
