This is Houston.  About twice a year, we get enough rain in about six 
hours to put I-10 under about two feet of water.  Needless to say, the 
commute's not too fun on those days, and they mark the only occasions on 
which I curse driving only sticks.

But no, the DMC is not allowed near water.  :)

Update on the emissions situation...  This morning the tech re-enabled the 
idle ECU, which caused the car to pass CO, but it's still failing HC.  He 
found and fixed a vacuum leak, and is now backing off the timing just a 
hair, which is something I know the engine needs anyway.  Hopefully it'll 
pass this afternoon.
