Mark, You know those 'fake' vent grills behind the doors? Well, on early VIN cars, they aren't fake. Your picture is missing a lot of the foam sealing strips that will keep water out of the hole, but that is what you found. The other side of the hole is behind the rear speaker. BTW, without the propper foam strips, water WILL run down between the fiberglass and ss bodies and will end up in the well under the fuses/relays or under the lambda/ecu. When my foam strips deteriorated, my wife sucked about a half a gallon of water out of the space UNDER the Fuses/Relays with a turkey baster. Hank Breer VIN 1141 Yahoo!
