Rich, I hear that a lot of water can get into the a/c just from rain. Somehow it splashes through the intake duct under the windshield and from there soaks into the blower motor. After having my dash all apart, I don't see how a little tilt one direction or another could help or prevent water from going in the wrong places. I had to replace my blower because of rust. On the new one, I put caulk over the seams on the top of it to keep water out. There are other holes higher up under the squirrel cage that are important for internal cooling, so don't seal those up. Now on your blower where you mention a drain hole on the bottom, I think you may be referring to the hole that is supposed to have a rubber hose attached. From there it elbows up to a nipple in the a/c housing. Are you missing this hose? > The evap is which part? That's the radiator-looking thing that is hidden in the dash. You should hope that you never need to remove it. I've had mine out & repaired because the previous owner kinked the lines in a failed attempt to replace the orifice tube & accumulator. The shame of it now is that I think it still may be leaking. > The condensor is the part mounted to the radiator right? Yep. Actually it is a "condenser" spelled with an "e". It gets confusing. I frequently hear people (including myself) calling parts by the wrong name. To make matters more confusing, the DeLorean's a/c system uses an accumulator and the fuel system also uses another kind of accumulator. Other kinds of a/c systems can use a receiver-dryer which is very similar to an accumulator but not the same. Are you further confused yet? Walt Yahoo!
