Well, Walter and I did damage assessment today. Thought I had a coolant leak at first but after getting the daylight on the car, we determined the brake master cylinder is bad. Steering rack boots are torn and dry so that needs to be repaired, no heat shield. The frame looks great. I dont see a spot of rust in the common areas. The front fans are disconnected. Need to put some new connectors onto it. Just have to put new metal connections in the plug. Question. The brake fluid cap has a slit in the top of the cap. Is this for breathing or should it not be there. If it shouldnt be there, is there a way to patch this small slit that will withstand up to the brake fluid? The rest of the cap is in good condition. I have a list of things to do and it will grow and shrink. Samuel Yahoo!
