Ok then. I am absolutely CERTAIN that the pick up hose is not collapsing. I also couldn't remember if I had a pick up screen on it when I put the pump in a year ago. Well it turns out that I DID so I KNOW I didn't suck up any solid matter. I'm afraid the pump may be just plain dying. The thing that pisses me off about that is it's only a year old. Any warrenty Houston offered is probably expired by now. I have another question which I'll put in a new post to keep my thoughts seperate.
