The prebuilt LED drop-in replacements are indeed "plug 'n' play". They've already got resistors built in. I've got them on my car, and they work very nicely. As you guys know from my incessant bitching, my car's voltage always goes very low at idle, so I like the LEDs since they don't dim with low voltage (and I'm not so bad off that they turn off). The only catch is the blinkers. If you replace all the blinkers with LEDs, the resistance in the circuit gets low enough that they flash fast, as if one is burnt out. You can solve this problem by installing a resistor to simulate the load of the real lights. -andrew Yahoo!
