Hey Greg, Good story buddy. P.F. is less than a year away I think, so you must plan on making some rapid progress. I understand how your triage led you to the decisions you've made. You're right, the individual condition of the car, plus your financial standing and time commitment will lead each owner to a different decision. I got a good laugh out of your paint job analogy. :) You're also right about Dave S. He better be at P.F. I plan on buying a specially autographed copy of "Backside to the Future". ;-) I hope that the time the car spends sitting doesn't junk up the fuel system. You know how everyone on the DML harps about having to replace everything after a year of sitting. Do you have a plan for that? Do you have a lead on a replacement door? Yeah, you're right...being bored here is good. I'm working an evening shift which isn't normal for me. These guys do even less than the dayshift. My office has an odd mixture of communications drawings and DeLorean wiring diagrams and repair checklists pinned up all over it. I'm lucky, my co-workers are as excited about the car as I am and have helped me out a lot. I was proud to finally drive it in and show them how they've helped me.
