I dont have any write up, but I can tell you I did it and it is no big deal.. The only thing I messed up, was I made my index mark to realign the splines with a marker that came off too eaisily... so I had to do it 3 times to get the steering wheel straight again.. I suggest a wax marker, like "Mean Streak" or something that wont wipe off eaisily. As far as tips go.. I used a screw driver to pry the coupler open a small bit after removing the pinch bolt.. this made the shaft slide out of the coupler eaiser. I think I may have used a bit of liquid wrench here too.. The hardest part of the job was getting the new bushing in to the fire wall! Big pipe and big hammer did the trick. Good luck! --- James LaLonde <deloreandmcxii@xxxxxxxxxx> wrote: > I can't find any tech articles on replacing the > steering column > bushing.
