By 'boot' I meant the over all finishing cover for the entire assembly. In the eBay picture what you see would drop in the tank and a clamp would attach around the black rubber piece holding the pump, and the 'boot' would cover all of this, at least that is how mine was assembled. Maybe we are saying the same thing in different ways. I really need to get a new digital camera.
