Well just go and look at almost any dragster, they pull purposely pull a vacuum in the crankcase. It serves several purposes, first any blowby wont pressurize the case and blow all the oil out, allows you to run low tension ring or and or larger gaps, and some people seem to think that by not having as much air behind the pistons they also move better. go to www.summitracing.com or www.moroso.com and take a look at all the different vacuum pump setups they have. Just looking at the setup will show you there isn't. The oil filler breather piped to the air cleaner? Looks like a normal PCV function to me. In fact, if there is a car that has vacuum under the valve covers I'd like to hear about it. Yahoo!
