Yes, I'm still running the old ignition stuff. I know it's not great but I'm pretty sure that's not the problem. Converter isn't stopped up. I have pretty free flowing exhaust. The cat doesn't glow. I've been double checking the timing every time I make a change to anything. -BUT- you did give me the bright idea of disabling the advance when I check it. Good idea. I'll do that. I have read my Hayne's fuel injection manual. It's very interesting. The most common, repeated listing for my problems (which happen to include hard cold starting) are "CO basic setting incorrect" and "control pressure regulator set too high/too low". I've already proven the CO setting was wrong because I got more power as I adjusted things. The cold start valve works perfectly. I tested it. I'm suspecting the CPR even though it's new. Can you adjust control pressure on that thing? Dave S. offered to let me borrow his fuel pressure rig. I think I'll take him up on that. --- In DMCForum@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, "content22207" <brobertson@xxxx> wrote: > Thought you said last week it only spritzed a little rain in the > afternoons... > > Possibilities: > -Are you still running that questionable ignition? > -Is converter stopped up?
