If anyone is repairing antique car radios, I have the 1933 Official Auto-
Radio Service manual. Complete directory of all radio receivers with full
installation and trouble shooting guide. Have we come a long way or what.

A bit of info about Atwater Kent.
Atwater Kent went to college at Worcester Polytechnic Institute in
Worchester, Massachusetts. His freshman year he was permanently expelled
from school for leading a cow up two flights of stairs into Boynton Hall,
where the campus chapel is located. Apparently they had to remove part
of the building and take the cow down with a crane because, although one
can coax a cow to climb stairs, it will not descend the same said stairs.
Atwater Kent went on to create the world's first car radio, and made a
bizillion dollars off of it. Decades later, WPI was looking for
donations for a new electrical engineering building, and someone ran
across a magazine article about a senile old man with a pool filled with
Perrier and more money than he knew what do do with. He was recognized
as the same Atwater Kent that once went to WPI as a student. Atwater
Kent gave WPI a shit-ton of money to build the new building on campus,
and as such, they named it after him.
Or so the story goes as told to every EE that went to WPI.
