Thanks for all the good advice as usual. Advance Auto had metric, but they only had one size up and one size below 7.00x1 mm. Things are coming together. BTW, I don't have to drill out anything. The stud ripped out, taking the threads w/it. I have easy access to put the helicoil in so I put the head back on. Sooooooo...... Both heads are on, and the engine is timed. I cranked her by hand a few times to make sure pistons aren't striking valves. Replaced front crank seal, replaced valve covers and timing cover. Tomorrow I'll put the distributor and new waterpump on. I'll pressure test the cooling system. Hopefully that will tell me if I shifted a cylinder liner. I won't bore you w/the rest of the laundry list, but I hope to have everything together, minus a new fuel distributor this weekend. That will be this coming week.
