That's true. I got offered a used Sanden SD-510 out of a Delorean for 150
Euro.
But because of the strong Euro against the Dollar the compressor from
houston is only 220 Euro.
Only problem are the shipping charges to Germany. I think the compressor
weights about 10 kilo (?!)
this would make another 70-90 Euro for shipping costs. And then I have to
get around the german tax somehow...
This will be the hardest part...;-)
The sanden SD-510 was also used in the Volvo 240,244,245,760,740 and 940,
But I couldn't find one on the local scrapyards.
I'll let you know if I'll find a Renault 30...
