The easiest part to screw up is converting door lock styles. The early VIN would have been made with the two-key system lock. If it hasn't already been converted, then you will need to cut two notches in the door skin (that is if you are converting). And even then it isn't a perfect fit. The old hole is almost too big for the new smaller lock. I have had great success removing the old style locks without breaking them. The trick is to know which tabs you need to pry and which ones not to waste paperclips/shims on. A heat gun also works wonders. Walt ------------------------ Yahoo!
