The digests are created automatically by Yahoo -- you can't edit them before they go out. If you need an immediate answer though, it would be best to -not- be on digest form, as digests by definition do not arrive immediately -- they wait until enough messages have gathered before they send out the digest package. Staying on individual messages is the best format for immediacy. This still does not ensure immediacy, as the person who might have the answer might be on digest form, or away from their email. -----Original Message----- From: Walter Coe [mailto:Whalt@xxxxxxx] Sent: Wednesday, July 31, 2002 12:47 PM To: DMCForum Subject: [DMCForum] dealing with spam Is there a way to create a digest version that has the spam and excessive quotes removed? I'm sure that the only way to do this is by hand. For those who like reading clean organized discussion threads, this should suit them. But then when they need an answer to a question quickly then they can deal with the "live" version as needed. It has been the case many times before where people needed an immediate answer to a question, but they had to wait for the moderator to approve it and then wait again for the moderator to approve any answers. This makes a live version very useful but then you get the spam & off topic stuff. Walt To unsubscribe from this group, send an email to: DMCForum-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Your use of Yahoo!
