Re: rebuilding a Ford V8 -- do they even make rebuild kits for Ford
big blocks? They never wear out so demand is extremely low. Perhaps an
obscure parts house on the Outer Banks has an old one left in the back
in a dust covered yellowed box...

In all honesty, low RPM's are the secret to big block longevity.
